From Disney/Pixar comes Up, a comedy adventure about 78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen, who finally fulfills his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America. But he discovers all too late that his biggest nightmare has stowed away on the trip, an overly optimistic 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell. From the Academy Award-nominated director Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc.), Disney/Pixar’s Up invites you on a hilarious journey into a lost world, with the least likely duo on Earth.
Ministry Aspects
The details...
Our children's wing is massive! We have two stories, bright paint, a surreal atmosphere and plenty of arts and crafts, bible-learning and (of course) snacking to go around. Below is an anonymous quote from a child who has experienced BCC:
I sing in choir and love making paintings about Jesus! He saved me and deserves my best in everything I do. That's why I draw him sooooo big and colorful like how I draw my daddy!
Coming Soon
We're having our 2nd annual “Drive-in Movie Night” in the church gym, Friday, March 12. Starting at 6:30pm, we will be watching the movie Up together. Parents, help your children build a cardboard car and bring it and them to watch the movie as a family. Popcorn will be provided, and there will be a prize for the best car! Contact Reed for more details and to RSVP.
